Course

The course is USATF certified, certification number AL05033JD.

There will be a 90 minute time limit to complete the course. Please do not enter if you cannot maintain at least a 14:30 pace per mile. Due to course constraints there will be no wheelchair division. Baby joggers, strollers, and animals will not be allowed on the course.


FLUID STATIONS & COURSE SUPPORT
Two fluid stations will be located on the course near 2 and 4.5 miles. Mile markers will be clearly displayed and split times given at each mile. Restroom facilities will also be available at the 2nd aid station.

The race will start on the entrance road to the Shoals Conference Center, just west of the Renaissance Tower and the Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa and proceeds to Veteran's Drive.
From Veteran's Drive, turns South on Cox Creek Parkway.
Crosses Wilson Dam.
Once across the dam, the course heads onto the paved TVA running trail from the Power House parking lot.
The distance on the trail is just under 1 mile.
The course turns North onto the pedestrian walk to and across the Patton Island Bridge.
After crossing the river on the bridge, runners will pass through the parking lot of the overlook at the end of the bridge and turn East onto Veteran's Drive and return to the Conference Center.
The finish line is located in the South parking lot at the Conference Center, just a few steps away from the South terrace.
