Braselton Run for Reading 8K & 2K
(12/01/07 - Braselton, GA)
Race directors for the First Annual Run for Reading 8K and 2K were former Florence residents Ryan and Sarah Kyranakis. TRAC provided finish line services for the race and several Shoals area runners made the trip to run in the race. The race was sponsored by Runners Fit of Braselton, the Kyranakis family business. The race winner was the Shoals own Heath White. The overall female was Brittany Aikens of Braselton.

Ryan and Sarah had a surprise for the Shoals area folks in attendance; there will soon be a little Kyranakis in their house. Congratulations!
